Invitation to a free HeadStart Kent and CORC Workshop for the VCS

CORC (The Child Outcomes Research Consortium), are hosting a free Workshop on the 15th May 2018 which will introduce outcome and feedback measures for monitoring children and young people’s social and emotional mental health and wellbeing (SEMHW). 

During the morning session, participants will gain an understanding of the rational for using measures, have a brief introduction to some of the measurement tools available,  and also have basic knowledge of how these can be applied to improve provision. There will be chance for attendees to reflect on their current position in terms of best practice for measuring and monitoring children and young people’s SEMHW by using the CORC Best Practice Framework. 

The afternoon session will present some basic concepts when it comes to analysing and interpreting this type of data at both the individual and service level. 

The agenda for the day will be as follows:

AM session 9:30 – 12:30

Introduction to measures and the different uses

How to choose the right measure for your organisation

Implementation considerations

12:30 – 1:30 buffet lunch provided (please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance of the Workshop)

PM session 1:30 – 4:30

Best Practice; where is your organisation

Action Planning

How to analyse and interpret the data.
