New Suicide Prevention Funding for Community Groups 
Led by health providers and local authorities from the Kent and Medway Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP), groups are being offered between £500 and £5000 to support projects designed to prevent suicide and reduce self-harm.

Council secures £330,000 to help rough sleepers 
The money, part of a £30 million pot, will be used to continue to fund a frontline rough sleeper co-ordinator to work on the streets with homeless charities Catching Lives and Porchlight to create individual support plans for each rough sleeper they come into contact with.

Kent councils to pilot scheme where they keep money collected from business rates 
Kent County Council, Medway Council and 12 district and boroughs are among the first in the country to retain 75% of the tax collected on properties used for businesses.

Government response to the Health and Social Care Committee’s report on integrated care 
The response sets out how the government intends to address the committee’s recommendations as part of the long-term plan for the NHS.
