Skillnet

The New Skillnet Admin Hub - the search is on!

Skillnet Group is going through an exciting period of growth and is on the search for an accessible office in Canterbury, Kent with space for 3 to 4 desks.  Setting up this Central Administration hub in the St. Dunstan’s / Roper Road area would be ideal, and would keep us close by to one of our busy community Social Businesses called ‘West Track Studios’.

Who are we? Skillnet Group run co-produced social businesses that offer paid work and work experience to people with learning difficulties and autism, supporting them to develop independence, engage fully with mainstream society and achieve employment, skills and qualifications.

How do we run? We believe social goals are more likely to be achieved if there is no profit motive. We therefore put our profit back into supporting the work we do. This saves our customers and funders the cost of private profits.  With this is mind, we are looking to develop a mutually beneficial partnership with an organisation or individual, so that we can keep our costs to the minimum and therefore maximise the opportunities and outcomes for the people we support and work in partnership with.

If you would like to explore any possibilities with us, then we would very much welcome the opportunity to chat with you.

Julia Nice. Project Lead for Workforce Development.
