Community Fairs

SKC runs 12 Community Fairs each year around the county to showcase, celebrate and promote volunteering. Each Community Fair is run at well known venues (theatres, town halls etc) and attracts in excess of 50  organisations at each event. Community Fairs are a great space to promote your group, recruit volunteers and network with other locally based organisations.

If your organisation is interested in booking a stall please contact Emma Cooney you will need to complete a booking form to reserve your space.

Employer Supported Volunteering and Skills Exchange

SKC is building up links with employers around Kent and matching to organisations and charities that benefit from employees volunteering during their working week. This type of volunteering is hugely beneficial for employers but can also increase the breadth of professional services available to the voluntary sector especially in area of finance, marketing and social media.
